The decisive matchups include Levski Sofia vs AEK Athens, Celtic vs LASK, Dinamo Zagreb vs Viking, Slovan Bratislava vs Celje, and Hapoel Be'er Sheva vs Sabah in the champions path. The two pairs in the other path are Fenerbahce vs Lyon and NEC Nijmegen vs Bodo/Glimt.
