HLV Arteta outlines plan to elevate Arsenal to the top of the world

Mikel Arteta declares that Arsenal does not intend to stop following their Premier League triumph, with the goal of developing a team strong enough to be the world's best.

Mikel Arteta affirms that Arsenal wants not only to dominate England but also to aim for the top spot globally, with a strategy of recruiting world-class stars. In Arsenal's development plan, Arteta and the club's leadership are setting even greater goals after winning the Premier League and reaching the Champions League final.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Arteta emphasized Arsenal's ambition to become “the best club in the world”. According to the Spanish tactician, to achieve that goal, the team needs to possess every top-tier element, from the stadium, facilities, and fans to the quality of the squad.

Arteta stated: “That is definitely the ambition of the club and the owners—to become the best club in the world. To do that, you need the best facilities, the best stadium, the best fans, and the best squad and players.”

Arsenal enters the new season with great confidence after defeating Manchester City 3-0 in the Community Shield. This victory further solidifies their status as a top contender in the race to defend the Premier League title. Arteta was particularly impressed by the spirit of his players. He believes the most important thing is to see the “fire,” the desire to improve, and the determination to fight in the eyes of every player.

Meanwhile, Arsenal has not closed the transfer market yet. The London club has spent £143.5 million on four new signings, but Managing Director Richard Garlick confirmed that the club will continue to look for deals that can make a difference.

“Before, we looked for players who could help build the squad or take the team to a certain level. Now, competing at the top, we need players who can completely change the game,” Garlick shared. As the new season is about to begin, Arsenal is aiming to defend their Premier League crown while taking another step forward in their European conquest.
